Catalytic contribution is what a person adds by making others more active, as distinct from what they produce on their own. A great teacher, organizer, coach, or founder may be valuable precisely because capability spreads around them after contact — and a society that recognizes only personal output will systematically underpay exactly the people who spread aliveness.
So the model treats it as a first-class form of contribution, rewarding people for the capacity they awaken, not only for what they personally create. It is the recognition side of transmissible, not monopolizable, and it connects to the deeper reframing of influence the function proposes: measuring not how many follow her but how many became more capable of generating life themselves because of her.
