No Wasted Geometry (NWG) is a living notebook. It collects arguments, definitions, and working models for how to build a new world in the age of artificial intelligence — and it is revised in public as the thinking sharpens.
More precisely, it is a developing framework for keeping a whole living system alive through the AI transition — standing, interiority, aliveness, renewability, and the rest of its twelve functions held together so that no single one is allowed to consume the rest. It is not a movement and not a finished ideology. The claim is not this has the answer but: here is a proposed architecture, here are the failure scenarios it is being tested against, here is where it seems strong, here is where it is under the most pressure, and here are the transition projects that might be needed. You are reading it while it is still being built — which is the point. If something here is wrong, that is the most useful thing you could find.
The most direct doorway is the AI transition scenarios: the framework put under load against concrete threats like job displacement, ownership concentration, gatekeeper AI, and benevolent AI governance — each worked through the same structure, honest limits included.
How it’s organized
The site is a set of areas — the main territories the project explores, like Emergence, Power & Control, Systems, Interfaces, and the Commons. Its backbone is The Living System: the set of functions a healthy ecology has to keep alive at once — emergence, renewability, signal access, interiority, aliveness, standing, consequential participation, and the rest — each built out one at a time under hostile examination. Each area is deep: it opens with orientation and descends, level by level, into more detailed and more explanatory pages. The further in you go, the richer the signal.
Alongside the areas is a Definitions page — the working vocabulary of the project. Each term is defined in a line, and links to its own full page for the extended treatment, so the areas can build on shared meanings instead of restarting every time.
How to read it
If you’re new, start with the manifesto — the shortest path to what this project believes. Then open any area and follow it down as far as your curiosity takes you; every page points to the more detailed ones beneath it.
A note on drafts
This site is intentionally unfinished. Ideas are posted when they’re useful, not when they’re final, and older pieces get redrawn as the argument improves. If something here is wrong, that’s the most useful thing you could tell me.
