Standing answers will I still matter? — your legitimate place does not depend on your labor. Jurisdiction answers who gets to control what happens to me? — no one holds unlimited authority over the ecology or over you; power must be legitimate, bounded, and reviewable. And ecological capacity answers where are we going? — toward a civilization able to carry more differentiated life, care, and possibility without consuming its own foundations.
Their strength is that each fails without the others: standing without jurisdiction is paternalism, jurisdiction without standing is domination, capacity without standing is technocracy, capacity without bounded jurisdiction is oligarchy, and standing with jurisdiction but no capacity is stagnation. The three are worked out together as a public core on The Three Pillars; the fuller theory beneath them carries far more, but these are the three that survive translation into plain language — comfort, clarity, and direction.
