Labor abundance names the inversion at the heart of the shift from an industrial to an AI ecology. The industrial condition was labor scarcity — more that needed doing than available human capability. The advanced-AI condition may become the opposite:

We have more productive capability than required human labor.

Those two worlds generate opposite problems. Labor scarcity asks how do we mobilize enough people? Labor abundance asks how do people legitimately participate when mobilizing their labor is no longer economically necessary? No Wasted Geometry is aimed primarily at the second question — which is why it would have been far harder to introduce in an era of genuine labor scarcity, and becomes materially conceivable as machine productivity rises. Labor abundance does not mean general abundance: scarcity persists in land, attention, care, and relationships, and abundance in total can still coexist with deprivation in access.
