Geometry is the project’s word for the specific shape a participant is: not a score or a rank, but the particular configuration of capacities, constraints, sensitivities, developmental possibilities, and relational effects they carry. It is deliberately structural — a shape, with its own strengths, limits, and needs — rather than a measure of worth.
Ontologically modest
The term claims less than it first appears to. It does not assert that a participant was designed or assigned a purpose. It asserts only that each participant is a highly particular configuration — that you are not interchangeable — and that once such a configuration exists, it is real information the ecology has to work with, whatever its origin. The deeper question of why these configurations exist is left open. That modesty is what lets No Wasted Geometry rest on differences anyone can observe rather than on a metaphysics anyone must accept.
