Faithful embodiment is the living-system function that turns inward possibility into real form and keeps it faithful there. It is the last step of a sequence — an interior reality forms, becomes alive, and only then can be embodied — and it is far more demanding than expression, because embodiment is continuous: the musician retunes, the healer adapts, the writer revises, the gardener tends changing conditions.
You have the right to work something into reality without having the form dictated to you in advance, and you have the responsibility to keep testing whether the form still faithfully carries what you intended.
The freedom side protects against premature standardization; the discipline side prevents this is my truth from excusing sloppy work. It is positioned between two failures — unembodied aliveness (potential that never becomes real) and captured embodiment (competence spent making real what someone else decided) — and its central distortion is captured calibration.
